Since 1916, Pikes Peak has been the scene of the world-famous Race to the Clouds—Otherwise known as The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb; a finger-nail biting, sit-at-the-edge-of-your-seat race to the top of “America’s Mountain!” That’s a 14,110 foot climb on narrow mountain roads, hair-pin curves and through adverse weather conditions including: rain, hail and even SNOW!

2015 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb – Race to the Clouds

The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is the second oldest motor sports race in America and a long-standing tradition in Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak Region. First competed in 1916 and this year marks the 98th running of the “Race to the Clouds.”
