The Colorado Springs Balloon Classic is now called Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off and it starts Saturday morning September 5, 2015 at 6:30 am, with the first wave of inflations beginning at 7 am near Prospect Lake in Memorial Park, Colorado Springs.

The Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off is held every Labor Day weekend in Colorado Springs. Averaging 70 hot air balloons every year, it is the largest event of its kind in Colorado. It’s a great way for the family to spend the holiday weekend!

Evening sessions begin at 6:30 pm with another demonstration Saturday from the Wings of Blue, live entertainment both Saturday and Sunday by Suga Bear and the Showtime Band, and then prepare to have your breath taken away as the balloons glow underneath the night sky.
